KIA Car Review on The Other PTA by Kristin Cruz #ThrowbackThursday

The Other PTA Founder Jessica Gottlieb

In honor of spending my day walking the lot at the new KIA dealership in Valencia, I had to throw it back to one of my favorite assignments from one of my favorite people, Jessica Wilzig Gottlieb at The Other PTA.

You may know Jessica as the OG “Mommy Blogger”. She was the first one I knew of to single-handedly blow up huge numbers on a personal blog about Parenting & Lifestyle. Over a decade ago, she showed me that creative Moms could make a difference in the world from our living-room floor, surrounded by Legos & Barney, with just our laptops & our opinions, & without adequate sleep. Jessica was also the first Mommy Blogger I knew of that was flown around the world to speak on panels because of the popularity of her blog! I was impressed from a distance. But in person she was even cooler.

Jessica & I really connected when we ended up on a video shoot together. We discovered that we both subscribed to the same belief; that women can be friends even though we “compete” in the same media industry. (What a concept right?). I’ll always consider her a girlfriend irl & a mentor in my online work. She’s the figure in my head that reminds me that a savvy no BS business M.O. can unapologetically co-exist right alongside with my PTA President #MomLife.

I hope you enjoy my “Car reviews from a Mom’s point of view”. There are a few I’ve written floating around the internet. Leave a comment if you have penned car reviews too. I’d love to check them out!

Kia Sorrento Family Car Review

I’m currently car-shopping for a bigger vehicle & I’m completely obsessed with an SUV that’s brand new to the US market. The gorgeous vehicle I’m stalking is from a car manufacturer that is known for making family-friendly vehicles. I’m hoping to tell you more about it soon & give you a sneak peek soon. I love practical finds that support my busy family-life, but never make me sacrifice the style & luxury of my single-woman past.

“I want it all. And, I want it now.” -Queen

That’s a good motto for career, mom life, car-shopping, and everything in between.
