Longtime music industry exec Laura Berens flipped the script on her career when she followed her passion for fitness and love for motherhood. Laura’s a local LA Mom who started designing clothes that she and her Mommy-friends were in need of, but couldn’t find in any stores. Sounding a lot like Sara Blakely to me! (An entrepreneurial woman who is a mentor of mine and the Founder of SPANX.) Laura saw a problem and literally hand-crafted her own solution. She’s now launching that fix for moms in a beautiful fashion line of crazy good workout clothes that I can;t wait to show you!
Her company is called “Love & Fit” Activewear for Moms. Hello. How perfect is that?
I’m motivated daily by the moms I follow on social media. I’m a visual person and I get encouraged by keeping pictures and little Post-it notes up in my studio.
