I’m Speaking At ConnectHER 2016!

You know I love speaking at any size gathering, big or small, if it’s about helping empower people, teach women how to be confident in their life choices, and especially when I get to meet inspiring moms who I can learn from. If I’m speaking somewhere then you can bet it will be an event worth attending. Calling all mompreneurs, moms from the media industries, moms who are creative, and moms with an idea!

Please join me at an incredible event called CONNECTHER 2016 in Southern California.

It’s official that I will be speaking at a truly can’t-miss Southern California event for women. This is a killer line-up of smart savvy ladies that you need to meet. We’re dropping knowledge & we’re going to have a blast while doing it! Buy your tickets for a girlfriend get-away. It’s business & pleasure,.. & the beach! What could be better? The ConnectHER2016 website has tickets & you can check out all the people & companies involved.

When it comes to speaking at an event like this one, I find myself so excited and with so many thoughts in my head about what I want to say, that it’s hard to narrow it down! It’s much harder to create a short and succinct speech that it is to write a long one. You would think it’s the other way around, right? Speaking in sound-bites is a tough skill to master. I’ve had to talk in tiny little open windows on the radio. And even after years of practice, I still find it challenging sometimes.

“I didn’t have time to write a short letter, so I wrote a long one instead.” – Mark Twain

Luckily I get to also be on a stage with some amazing other women who have valuable info to share. I’m interviewing some incredible ladies. So, it’s not all on me to narrow down our focus. Joining me on stage with be the founders of BLOGher, Books & Cookies, and CityMoms App. I just need to worry about asking a few key questions, then I’m going to sit back just like all of you, and listen and learn! Can’t wait to see you there!
